Filling your pet’s prescription at a pharmacy

Many medicines for dogs and cats are the same generic medicines people take. When your vet prescribes one of these, you can fill the prescription at a regular pharmacy.

    1. Ask your vet for a written prescription for your pet’s medicine.
    2. Scan the code, or go to www.scriptunlock.com/pet-medications, and upload the prescription.
    3. Licensed pharmacies reply with their own cash price. You choose one and pay that pharmacy when you pick the medicine up.

Veterinary-only medicines, including many flea, tick and heartworm products and some pain and allergy medicines, are dispensed by your vet or a veterinary pharmacy. Ask your vet which applies to your pet’s medicine, and give it exactly as prescribed.
