Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') governs your use of the Script Unlock Platform. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users including patients, pharmacies, and API partners.
Permitted Uses
- Searching for prescription price comparisons for your own valid prescriptions
- Uploading prescriptions for which you are the patient or authorised caregiver
- Comparing pharmacy bids and selecting a pharmacy for prescription fulfilment
- Accessing medication information and savings guides for personal educational purposes
- Pharmacies: submitting accurate bids and managing your pharmacy profile
- API Partners: accessing the API within rate limits and for permitted purposes
Prohibited Uses
- Uploading fraudulent, forged, or otherwise invalid prescriptions
- Submitting prescriptions on behalf of others without legal authorisation
- Scraping, data mining, or bulk downloading Platform content without written consent
- Attempting to circumvent security measures or access systems without authorisation
- Submitting competitive intelligence bids with no intent to fulfil
- Using the Platform to facilitate the unlicensed sale of prescription drugs
- Attempting to identify or contact individual patients through bid data
- Using the Platform in violation of any applicable drug advertising or pricing law
- Interfering with the Platform's functionality or other users' access
- Impersonating a pharmacy, prescriber, patient, or Script Unlock representative
API Specific Rules
- API keys are non-transferable and must not be embedded in public client-side code
- Rate limits as published in the API documentation must be respected
- Any application using the API must comply with this AUP and display required attribution
- Automated submission of prescription bids without patient consent is prohibited
Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning notices
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities
- Civil or criminal legal action
We reserve the right to monitor Platform usage for AUP compliance.
