California Rx Price Transparency Law (SB 17) — Effective January 2019
SB 17 (2017) requires drug manufacturers to provide 60-day advance notice to purchasers before raising a drug price by more than 16% over two years, and to explain the reason for the increase. One of the strictest drug pricing transparency laws in the US.
