Species-specific benefit
A 5 kg dog needing 0.1 mg/kg daily needs 0.5 mg — about 0.3 mL of commercial 1.5 mg/mL Metacam. Easy to over-dose. Compounded 3 mg/mL strength halves the volume and dramatically improves accuracy.
Rabbits require 0.3–0.5 mg/kg — HIGHER per kg than dog/cat. A 2 kg rabbit needs 1 mg per dose. Commercial suspension volume is impractical. Compounded higher-concentration liquid solves this.
