Editorial Standards
How Script Unlock ensures accuracy, independence, and transparency in all content.
Our Mission
Script Unlock provides accurate, current prescription pricing information to help patients make informed decisions. We are committed to editorial independence — our content is never influenced by pharmacy partners, manufacturers, or advertisers.
Sources
All pricing data is sourced from verified pharmacy bids on our platform. Editorial content cites:
- FDA drug labels and Orange Book
- CMS NADAC (National Average Drug Acquisition Cost) data
- State pharmacy board registries
- Peer-reviewed journals (PubMed-linked)
- Authoritative clinical guidelines (ADA, AHA, USPSTF)
- Original Script Unlock pharmacy bidding data
Medical Review Process
All medical content is reviewed by a licensed pharmacist (PharmD) or physician (MD) before publication. Reviews cover factual accuracy, appropriate caveats, contraindications, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Content is re-reviewed when regulatory guidance changes.
Updates and Corrections
Pricing data is updated based on live pharmacy bids. Drug information is reviewed quarterly against FDA label updates. Corrections are made promptly when errors are identified — corrections are noted on the relevant page with the date of correction. To report an error: support@scriptunlock.com
Independence Statement
Script Unlock earns revenue from pharmacy subscription fees ($149/month) and a 4.5% platform fee on transactions. This commercial model does not influence editorial content. Pharmacies cannot pay for preferential placement in pricing results — all bids are ranked by price, lowest first.
